Reference letter Horizon Roofing
In June of 2023, my husband and I contracted with a commercial building company to put a new roof on our hay shed, which was leaking.Work was scheduled to begin in the fall.In October, the building company delivered all of the materials and collected payment.
However, some issues came up and they could not figure out how to get our roof work completed. They had our money, we had roofing materials in our driveway and a leaky roof.
In late December, my husband died unexpectedly, and I needed to sell my large property and move ASAP.I was stuck between a rock and a hard place.I also needed the shed roof finished. The building company was still unable to move forward.
In desperation, I reached out to Brian Donohue and Horizon Roofing to see if they could help.
Yes, they could and they did! Horizon Roofing came to my rescue. Within 3 days, Brian had a skilled experienced crew out working on my roof. Not only did the crew know what they were doing, they were wonderful to have around. I felt completely comfortable with them.Even when we hit a snag – we were short some roofing panels – they worked with me to find a solution. Once the needed materials arrived, the crew came back and finished the roof. They did a great job. The new roof looks fabulous, it’s now weather-tight, and it upgraded the look of my property which was helpful when my home went up for sale. Not only did the crew clean up the mess perfectly, they also helped me store some extra steel panels that I could not lift myself.
Throughout the process, Brian, all of the crew and the office contact person were always kind, helpful and responsive.
I truly needed their both expertise and their kindness as I dealt with losing both my beloved husband and my long-time home all at the same time.
I absolutely recommend Brian Donohue and Horizon Roofing for any roofing project you need done, house or shed. Brian will take care of you. I know that from personal experience. Many thanks, Brian, for helping me out at a difficult time.
Sincerely,
Karen Ahlquist
